About Idaho Pacific Colorado.
Idaho Pacific Colorado Corporation located in Center, Colorado started operations in 2003. The plant was originally built in 1998 by a group of farmers that took the bold step of building the first potato dehydration facility in the San Luis Valley. In 2003 Idaho Pacific Colorado Corporation acquired the facility and over the years has expanded the operation to increase its output and its production capabilities. The San Luis Valley is one of the premier potato growing regions in North America, providing a reliable source of raw potatoes ideal for manufacturing high quality dehydrated potato products.
Production Capabilities.
The Center, CO plant produces dehydrated potato Flakes, and Flour. We offer many different ingredient specifications for multiple end-product applications. From whole flake to finely milled flakes/flours, to full cook to low leach, to additive free/clean label, our diverse production capabilities give us the ability to manufacture and supply the right product for you.
The San Luis Valley is one of the primary Organic Certified potato producing regions in North America, which provides a source of organic raw potatoes that we utilize in manufacturing Organic Certified dehydrated potato flakes and flours.
Our highly skilled Research & Development team is ready to assist you to solve your technical needs or to develop customized specifications for your business needs.
Our packaging capabilities include kraft bags in multiple weights and sizes and polyethylene bulk sacks.
Growing Region.
Colorado is the 5th largest growing region in the United States and is a key supplier of fresh potatoes throughout North America. At over 7,600 ft in elevation the San Luis Valley provides all the necessary conditions to grow the highest quality potatoes. The main variety of potatoes grown are Russet varieties along with reds and yellows varieties. The well-established fresh potato industry ensures a reliable supply throughout the processing season.
This facility is certified under a GFSI approved standard.
The products produced in this facility are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU).
The products produced in this facility are certified Halal by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA).
This facility is produced organic products certified by the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
